About the journal
The Journal of Intelligent Systems and Applied Technology publishes peer-reviewed research on artificial intelligence, computing and engineering that is built, tested and used in the real world. We welcome theoretical advances, applied systems and reproducible engineering work.

We are now accepting submissions for our first volume. Accepted articles are published online as soon as they are ready and receive a Crossref DOI.

Authors are encouraged to share code and data in a public repository, and must describe how results can be reproduced.

For authors
Read these points before you submit to JISAT. Word limits, reference style and reporting standards are in the full JISAT author guidelines.
Before you submit
- Check that your paper fits the aims and scope.
- Prepare an anonymised manuscript with no author names or affiliations.
- Prepare a separate title page with authors, affiliations, funding and conflicts of interest.
- Write a short cover letter confirming the work is original and not under review elsewhere.
- Include a data availability statement and disclose any use of generative AI.
Fees and licence
- No fee is charged at submission.
- An article processing charge of €1,399 is invoiced only after acceptance.
- Payment never affects the editorial decision.
- Withdrawal after peer review has started: €499.
- Authors keep copyright, and articles are published under CC BY 4.0.
Authors are encouraged to share code and data in a public repository, and must describe how results can be reproduced.
