FTI Publishers is an open-access publisher of peer-reviewed journals across a growing range of disciplines. Membership is the simplest way for active researchers and institutions to publish with us: one yearly fee instead of an article processing charge for every paper.
Members publish unlimited accepted articles in regular and special issues during each membership year, and receive extra support to make their research more visible.

Propose and guest edit a special issue in your field. Proposals are reviewed by the journal’s editorial board.
Promotion of your work
We share members’ new articles, videos and presentations on our LinkedIn and other channels.
Priority technical check
Your submissions are first in line for the technical check before peer review starts.
Join as a reviewer or editor
Members with suitable experience are invited to review for our journals or apply to join an editorial board.
Membership certificate
A digital certificate confirming your membership, for your CV or institution.

Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Every manuscript still goes through full double-blind peer review, and membership does not guarantee acceptance.
How to become a member
Apply
Fill in the short application form below.
Receive your invoice
We confirm your details and send an invoice by email.
Get your Membership ID
Once payment is received, we email your Membership ID and certificate.
Submit your articles
Enter your Membership ID on the submission form every time you submit.
Apply for membership
We reply within two working days with your invoice and next steps.
Does membership guarantee that my article will be accepted?
No. Every manuscript goes through the same double-blind peer review. Membership only removes the article processing charge for accepted articles.
What does "unlimited" mean?
There is no limit on the number of accepted articles you can publish during each membership year, as corresponding author (individual) or for authors affiliated with your institution (institutional).
Can co-authors from other institutions be on my paper?
Yes. The membership applies when the member, or an author from the member institution, is the corresponding author.
When does my membership start?
On the day your payment is received. It lasts 12 months for each year you purchase.
Can I upgrade from individual to institutional?
Yes. Contact us and we will credit the unused part of your individual membership.
