About us – FTI Publishers

Who we are

FTI Publishers (Forum for Transdisciplinary Innovation) is the publishing name of UAB FTI Publishers, a company registered in Vilnius, Lithuania. We publish peer-reviewed, open-access journals across a growing range of disciplines, and we add new titles as we build strong editorial boards in each field.

"Transdisciplinary" describes how we work. Many of today's important questions sit between fields, such as artificial intelligence in diagnosis, or technology for clean energy. Our journals welcome research that crosses those boundaries.

Our mission

We want reliable research to reach everyone who can use it. That means rigorous peer review, honest and transparent policies, permanent identifiers for every article, and no paywalls for readers.

Integrity

Our editorial policies follow the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Payment never influences an editorial decision.

Openness

All articles are free to read under a CC BY 4.0 licence. Our fees, processes and policies are published in full on this website.

Fairness

Double-blind peer review means papers are judged on their content, not on who wrote them or where they come from.

Global reach

We welcome authors, editors and reviewers from every country, and we handle their data in line with the EU's GDPR.

Editorial boards

Each journal has its own editorial board of active researchers. Every editor has agreed in writing to serve. As new journals launch, their boards will be listed here.
