Video articles and presentations

Short videos and slide presentations that help more people understand published research.

Video articles

A short video in which the authors explain their published article: the question, the method, the key findings and why they matter.

  • 2 to 5 minutes long
  • MP4 format, 1080p, up to 200 MB
  • Clear audio and English subtitles

Presentations

A short slide deck summarising the article, ideal for conferences, teaching and sharing on social media.

  • 5 to 15 slides
  • PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF, up to 20 MB
  • Include the article title, authors and DOI on the first slide

How to add a video or presentation

Video articles and presentations are optional and can be added once your article has been accepted. Send the file, or a link to it, to your journal's email address. The content must match the peer-reviewed article and must not add new claims. Anyone who appears in a video must agree to it being published. Like the articles, videos and slides are shared under CC BY 4.0.
